Dr. Katie Yackley received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1998 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 from Washington State University. In 2004 she also obtained a Masters of Preventive Veterinary Medicine from the University of California-Davis.
Dr. Byrant was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Her passion for animals took her first to Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Randolph College in 2013, then a DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.
